I've gotten more familiar with my Pandora app (iphone 4) and am thinking about getting an aftermarket CD stereo that has PANDORA compatibility. my thoughts are:

long term, will PANDORA still be around a few years from now?

Anyone have any cd stereos like this and have any recommendations/advice?
i'm not a big audiophile, so my goal is to get a cd stereo and probably a decent amplified sub (or minor to moderate speaker upgrade) and call it a day.

Pandora was the original internet radio........It has a huge customer following, is supported by various manufacturers, and is the "iPod" of music streaming (iPod as in it was first, and it's here to stay)....If you're on a budget and a decent amount of control over your system, just pick up this: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500CDE122/Alpine-CDE-122.html?tp=5684

If you have a 1200 dollar budget, I suggest the Kenwood DNX9980HD.

pandora may be free, but you are only allowed so many hours per week. My brother has topped out several times. You have to pay for anything over 40 hours i believe. But you shouldnt worry about it unless you live in your car 24/7
