so im still thinkin about getting the midpipe. and i currently have the medallion touring exhaust and its very quiet. i would like to get the catless/ no res midpipe but i worry about the tone and loudness. and i recently read that megan racing is working on a "catback" for the xd. now idk if that really means axleback or axleback + midpipe. well anyway point is in anyones opinion should i just get the rpm midpipe or wait and see what megan racing offers. and what configuration is better in terms of function and tone?

i have a custom made mid pipe that deletes the res. and 1 cat so i still have the cat right beheind the headers , i think it sounds great , but it is loud

What he said. Sounds nice but its loud. Running catless w/ res and long tube headers. I love it in city. Not liking it driving to work (hwy 15miles one way). Unless I keep it at 60

see my exhaust now is so quiet. i cruise at 80 on the highways at 3000 rpm and there is a drone but its not very loud and i drown it out with music anyway. most of my driving is city. idk im cheap lol and i want the cheapest configuration. the positives: bare mid pipe gives the most power. negatives: its completely illegal lol. i think worse case scenario i'll just save and get the pipe with the res. but this wnt be for while. thanks for the input guys

forreal son im not playing i cruise at 75-80 at 3k rpm the ecu for the automatic and manual trans could probably be set way differently

No the actual physical gear ratios in the transmissions are different. With the TC locked and in final gear the auto has a higher ratio than the five speed manual.

i have a picture of the speedo lol i keep checking it just to make sure. the tach reads 3k while in the range of 75-80 than it starts to creep right above 3k if i go faster.
