Ok, well since I'm not going turbo I'm using the money I'm getting back in return to do other things to my ride...Well so far you have seen my Clazzio interior, shark fin antenna, and interior and engine bay lighting...Well a couple days ago I was browsing the Sponsored Sales section of SL and came across a vendor selling Axis Decade Rims at 60% off...Now these included the rear rims with the Maxis lip, that's a 3.25 inch lip...So I couldn't resist and ordered up a set of 18x8, 35 offset, Axis Decades in staggered fit to replace my 18" Enkei EMX Super 7's...They are being delivered to my house tomorrow at a cost of $540 SHIPPED. Now for those that know about these rims, they usually run close to $275 to $325 a rim depending on the site...I also plan to switch out my TRD springs for Tanabe DF210's...

For those interested, here is the link on SL for the seller of the rims:

Seen them on a Hot Lava and they just don't look right. Now, if they were available in black I would rock them for sure! Nice staggered fitment!

At this price, nothing a little paint on the spokes couldn't fix...Man the service I got from Ryan over at Next Level Motoring was fantastic...Got the rims in two days...Anyways, on to some pics...Most of you know my fiasco with Todd from TT...Anyways, the only money I had laying around for the "money shot" pics was the partial payment that he just recently sent me...I found it fitting to use it for the pics'...

Thx man...At that price why not...Look on ebay and see what they are going for...Ridiculous...I may powder coat the inner part down the road and leave the nice chrome lip...But for now, I'm gonna leave them alone...

Just for the record...I went 35 offset for both front and rear...

Ok there on and I love them...They sit almost perfectly flush and I have zero rubbing issues...Love the look of the massive rear lip...I will be swapping out my TRD springs for some Tanabe DF210's so I can sit a little lower which I think will make it look even better...May get some lugs powder coated HOT LAVA to get some color on the rims...Here are the pics, let me know what you think...I would love to see someone get these and powder coat/paint the center spokes a different color (i.e. BLACK, HOT LAVA, BRONZE, GOLD)...That would look killer...

***PS***You can also see the wiper cowl piece that is still in the mock-up stage and is almost done...I love the way it looks...Also, you notice on my lower side skirt that a sponsor is missing? Thanks TurboToyotas...

245/40R17's on my xD, If I had stock bumpers I would not rub, but my kit is shaped oddly on the inside so I occasionally get a little "eerrrtt..." I have been meaning to shave the inside down a little but havent gotten around to it yet...

Well Randode made a 5mm and 10mm so we decided to try bigger first (10mm). I think it turned out perfect...It is FLUSH and when I did the fake curb and emergency brake tuck job, the rear tucked and cambered quite nicely...Not sure if I will rub obviously because I can't drive like that but it does look sick slammed...My Tanabe DF210 springs arrived yesterday and I'm going to Randode's house Sunday to install them...Here is the new look with 10mm added...Go to the first post for comparison pics...

Looking good, Tim, just be warned you will MOST LIKELY have some rubbing issues when you switch to the DF210's... I'm only running 18x7.5 rims with a 45 offset and 225/40/18 tires. I'm dropped on Progress springs, which are a 1/2" lower in the front than the DF210's - about a 2.2" drop front and back - and my tires rub the inside of the wheel well lips (the plastic well liners, actually) over every little bump or dip in the front, right on the sloped side of the tread. Even the rear tires rub the lip every so often, especially when my kids are riding in the back seat.

Your wheels are 8" wide, 35 offset, with 10mm spacers - that will set the edge of your tires WAY further out than mine. That's 6 mm further for the 1/2" wider wheels, + 10 mm going from 45 to 35 offset, + a 10 mm spacer, so another 26 mm, or a full inch further out... If you don't have any rubbing issues with that setup, then all I can say is I guess I'll be buying DF210's myself and my progress springs will be going in the trash...

Installed the DF's on Saturday, and Oh yes I rubbed...Read over on SL about it...Now i'm spacerless, FOR NOW...

We could run some universal fender flares and just bang out the wheel arches to fit... I wish we could just roll em... too bad they are designed the way they are...
