Well, thanks to Scott(scion4us) I'm the proud owner of a Precision Muffler Magnaflow axleback exhaust. I got it on this weekend, sounds great, nice deep tone but you can hardly hear it at idle or highway speeds, which is what I wanted, very happy with it, thanks again Scott, much appreciated.

Had to tweek the rear hanger a little, heated it up and put a wrench on it to bend it up slightly. Spring bolts were a mother to get back on, but we got them with a little grit and elbow grease, lol.

Was it up against the kit before you tweeked it? And I never installed it, Gabe from Precision did it for me on the grass at a show. I know it took him and 2 others about an hour to get on. Took me about 15 min to get it off.
Glad you are happy!:favorites37:

I went ahead and tweeked the hanger before we even tried to put it on. I saw where it had been rubbing and figured we could tweek it a little and go from there.

Sounds and looks great, Rob! I was seriously going to get one of those Precision mufflers for my xD, but then I happened to see a TRD muffler on eBay for $219 with free shipping, new not used, and no one else bid on it, so I ended up winning that one instead...

For those who haven't seen my exhaust vids posted on another forum, here's the one I took when I installed my TRD back in May... you can use it as a comparison to the Precision muffler:

and just for fun, here's one i took right after I removed the stock muffler -with NO muffler on my xD!:

I have the same exhaust and I can defiantly say that the video does not do justice at all, I tried making one also and its just not the same as in person. But mine hangs way too low, I'd like it be more flush like yours. So youre saying you bent the rear hanger? Could you be more specific and possibly pictures because I would like to do the same thing. Thanks much.

Yeah, I just heated up the rear hanger and bent it up slightly, not much. I may take it to a muffler shop and have them tweek it again as it doesn't ride perfectly in the cutout now. And when I go around a corner hard it moves ever so slightly and vibrates on the body of the car. I don't now if its a weak rubber hanger or if its from tweeking the hanger.

I tweaked mine a bit now.. I couldn't get it to budge much though. I'm just going to buy a little shorter rubber hanger.

I've been running the Magnaflow from Precision Muffler for almost two years now.
I love the sound of it but the fitment and finish of the welds was pretty bad.
It took some tweaking to fit with the 5axis kit and I sprayed mine with some engine paint to help protect the shotty looking welds.

I am using a magnaflow as well but not the Precision Muffler unit. Obviously no issues as it was designed at a shop who installed it on the car.
