Scion car cover: good idea? If so, where to buy?

I was thinking of getting a car cover.

Is this a good idea? What are the pros and cons?

And if you recommend I get one, where should I get it from?

Ehhh, what is the point? I can see it being maybe beneficial if you are leaving your car parked for longer that a week? but then again even if i was and had the car cover, i would probably forget to slip it on before i left. =/

don't get the toyota one. lol it's just a thin plastic-ish one i've had better one's that breathe and prevent mold and mildew. but i used it straight for 2 months because the parking structure i park at for work was under renovation and those guys didn't give a poop about the cars in there. the first day (i didn't know about) and found overspray over the whole car. WTF!!!! so i had to clay the car and since then put a car cover on it. other co-workers had overspray and one even found paint yes paint splatters. and they were smudged so the guy knew and tried to wipe it off. luckily with my car cover after that i had no damage to my paint on the car. if i had no car cover i'd not to sure what other damage i'd find.

for the xd it's a toyota one. for the xb i don't remember the name but the desc. in the link sounds similar to that one.

Just wanted to update: I ended up buying a cover. it's great and fits perfectly, but I find myself not using it.

I would sell it to anyone who wants it... at a big discount. Let me know :)
