Has anybody installed coilovers on their car yet? Some of the versions available look very promising, in terms of handling and ability to drop the car. The one thing that concerns me is the cost, usually fairly pricey. Still if the benefits are substantial they may be worth spending on.

These look very interesting> http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/coilovers.asp

dont use yaris coilovers.. the spring rates will be off as the xd is heavier.. front and rear... unless u can get the company to make a stiffer spring gonna ride really crappy

lol crappy ride? dropped on tein basics almost to the max, running 18's on a slight stretch. what is a smooth ride?

I was thinking of these...

Think they would compliment the R.S.1 nicely! Anyone know if this product is worth the $$$??

Saw those before, but this is the first time I've seen them advertised showing the rears as well. Does anyone know if the xD version shown comes with the adjustable pillow ball for camber changes? That advert only says some applications and no mention about this application specifically. Still, they look great and I've heard good things about them. The color is right for sure!

the rears on that picture are not for the xd... we have a seperate spring and shock in the rear set up will look like stock with spanners on the bottom to adjust height... and the ksports i believe are 32 way adjustable.... some like ksport other dont i dont ive read to many horror stories on other forums... my suggestion would be tanabe or tein.... jic might be coming out with coils soon

It does look bada$$, and his wheels look like they belong on the car with that orange stripe.

damn I wish I could go that low... unfortunately the GT Concept kit will not allow it, unless I want to have the front end permanently sitting on the ground...

as a personal warning to everyone else. please do not buy ksport. it's a junk product. i have several people ive known that bought the coilovers and all of them have thrown the setup in the trash due to the product failing. there's nothing scarier than the coilover snapping in half or collapsing while you're driving to work. please buy a reputable brand.

i just dont want to see or hear of any fellow xD owner getting into a wreck or car breaking because of a sub standard product. =(

I have been hearing the same thing from the Si board, it seem Ksports makes some really cheap products.
