I have not done this yet, but planning on it being one of my next additions. You said it made a big difference, can you explain that difference? My RS1 already handles good, and I 've heard the same thing from others as well, but hoping to get a detailed explanation on exactly how it feels and what it does.

Yeah, I've heard it makes a difference too. It should since there's not a stock one, lol.
Definitely on my future mods list too!

I got my sway bar installed when I bought the car from the dealer. I had test-driven an automatic xD on the lot, it did not have the sway bar on it, but after I picked up my manual with the sway, I still was able to notice a difference in handling, even though the test-drives were two weeks apart. I'm happy with mine!

We noticed a definite twisting sway in the rear when we first got the car, VERY much unlike my wife's 1st gen xB. We added the progress sway to hers and it handles REAL nice.
I bought the TRD and noticed an immediate difference in the mph I could hit some of our nice fun corners around here!:)

In short it stiffens the reay and takes away the "butt is rolling into the air" feeling. LOL

Install was a piece of cake!

I am having my sway bar installed today, I already am running a Tanabe front upper, and that made a huge difference, hopefully the body roll will be reduced further I will be happy with the xD's cornering ability...
If it is not enough for me, then I will move onto getting a front underbrace...

a little off topic but I am also having TRD brakes installed :D

Rotors and pads?

Pads only, TRD doesnt make rotors for the xD, plus mine dont need to be replaced yet...

Do you know anyone who has installed the pads? Can you feel the difference, or measure the difference in distance travelled while braking?

I dont know anyone who is running the TRD brakes... but hey, if you aren't the lead dog, the scenery never changes...

I like your attitude! Let us know if there is a significant difference in stopping power.

I got the rear swaybar and really like it. I don't rally it or anything like that, but I do like to take the back roads home from work at night and get a little racy there, lol. I think it made an improvement.

there is some other options out there for us besides the trd... we share the same suspension as the new yaris hb... so we can use thier swaybars.. ultra racing makes a 23mm rear sway bar which is gonna be alot stiffer than the trd one they also make a front and mid stiffineng components...

True Dat!! Look at Mama T's ride! Still not done after 4+ years! Just ordered 2 more pieces for it as well! She had to have a new speedo and something from Ron AKA Orataro if you get where I going with this!:boxed:

I got the rear installed on my Deviant a couple weeks ago, after driving it around I have noticed the rear end is stiffer in corners... I need new tires to really see what it can do, but so far, me likes!

The TRD one has a nice warranty and it doesn't mess up warranty information if installed by a dealer.

the trd one has a 1 year warranty ultra racing has a 1 year warranty stame thing.... and you can take the sway bar on / off without leaving evidence that its been installed... so my vote goes to ultra racing unless your gonna finane the trd bar for an extra 1 a month : ) then go for it.. : )
