Finally got the wheels, tires and brakes on.
The Wheels are Kyowa Evolve 628's, 17 X 7, with custom orange stripes. The tires are Goodyear Eagle GT's, 215/45/17. The brakes are EBC slotted and dimpled rotors, with EBC Green Stuff pads. Was able to get the stripes applied by a local painter specializing in pinstripes for $20 per wheel. More grip, better braking, way better look. TRD rear sway bar and Tien S Techs next.. |
Lookin' good. I'm a big fan of wheel pinstripes. Really sets them off.

guy in a truck didn't get stopped in time. i was at a dead stop when he hit.

ouch, how fast what he going? Besides you getting a new hatch and bumper is everything else ok?

the speed limit on the road is 45, but no one does that. i would probably say around 30 or so, he locked up his brakes. lucky me, my brakes held when he hit so i didn't hit the car in front of me.
the tail lights are messed up too. the damd kit has some gouges in the rear lip, so i'm not sure where that's gonna go. |

Sorry bro. :boxed: That bites bigtime. It's all fixable, but that doesn't help your spirits now. Good luck with the repairs.

That sucks. I know from dealership a new rear bumper unpainted in mid $200s and rear door is like mid $300.

hey Jester....look on the bright side. if you got a buddy down at the body shop, then you got a chance to get some new mods done and let insurance foot the bill. haha.
maybe a new paint job? im hoping someone keys my car so i can get the two-tone paint i want done. haha. anyways, good luck on the repairs. I CANT wait for my S-Tech's to get here. im hoping they get delivered and i can have them installed in the next week or two. |

Here's my RS 3.0 just about a month of ownership; the rims from my previous car happen to fit the xD! (SSR 17x7.5+35, BFG 235/45).
It will go back to steelies for the daily commute. |

just installed my new Tein S-Techs this weekend. really quick install and it looks sick!! eliminated all of the wheel gap. i will have some better pictures up in a day or two.
BTW....how do i post larger pictures here in the thread? rather than using the smaller attachments? for some reason i can't figure it out. ha. Attached Thumbnails |

Have had my xD for a while but just recently started to "mod" it. In the last two months shes gotten TRD springs/shocks, TRD rear swaybar, TRD SSK, NST SSK, NST pulley, Spectra intake, tint, rear wing and sharkfin antenna. Just ordered TRD sport exhaust and planning on getting the Weapon R header as well....xD FTW.

Not hard at all, 4 bolts are all that hold it on and they are pretty easy to get to. Shouldn't take you more than 10-15 min to do.

Thanks. Those were from my trip to South Dakota in early August. I live in Milwaukee, WI so its mostly city here too. I just go off and find places to play in the mud :cool:. I should have some other pictures to post near the end of September from the rally event I plan on doing. We will see what I break this time lol.
