they guy who is painting his car did it..i honestly dont kno how to do it but he sed that they just hit the inside of his fender with a hammer to push it out

Well, getting back to some photos, the Pennsylvania chapters over on Scikotics is putting together a 2010 Scion calendar with photos of PA peep's cars, so we're all trying to take some good scenic pics to put in the calendar. Since I'm off work right now, I have alot of extra time to wash the car and go out to take some daytime pics... here's a few of the nicer possibilities I've gotten so far, just for pretty...

And, here's a few more I took this morning, along the Susquehanna River, about 10 miles from my house... the weather here has been beautiful the last few days, Sunny and 80 degrees, low humidity, and a nice blue sky with some puffy white clouds...

I know all my pics are kinda monotonous with the same 3/4 shot from the front left of the car, but I want to do a calendar shot from the front, and the driver's side has the decal that says "Scion xD" - on the passenger side it basically reads backwards "xD Scion" .... so I'm somewhat limited in my angle of shooting... sorry!

So anyone try to take some night shots at all? It seems to be a little tougher to do with a digital camera than with the old 35mm SLR... these I took next to a church just up the street from my house, it had both high-pressure street lights and incandescent floodlights along the side of the building, which accounts for the green and orange hues... guess these pics turned out ok...

Thanks, the rims are charcoal grey, was going to do black, but everyone started doing it so I went with the grey.

Sub enclosures were made by a local shop. The guy was excited to do them and even had his buddy do the airbrushing for free.

Hey all, great news, went to a small Scion show in Allentown, PA yesterday, about 15 cars in the show. They gave out 6 prizes, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Best Sound, and 1st, 2nd & 3rd Best of Show. I actually won 1st place Best of Show with my xD, against quite a few very nice xBs and tCs... won a big trophy, a $10 Best Buy gift card, and $150 from the Scion Dealer... It was a good day all in all, four of us from the Pennsylvania Scikotics group won trophies - I'm the sexy one(!) in the Grumpy t-shirt on the far right in the last photo:

Well, the only catch is, the $150 I won from the Dealer is not cash, it's for parts or service... but since the dealer is 60 miles away from my home, I guess I'll put the money toward a Scion/TRD accessory part for my car... I don't have a lot of choices, though, it's mainly between these few items - the price is the list price from Scion.com, hopefully the dealer will sell a little less without installation:

Cargo cover/rear deck for $259
4-in-1 interior LED lighting kit (way overpriced at $299)
LED Illuminated Scion Door Sills $290
Sport Steering Wheel $279
Auto-dimming mirror $229
TRD brake Pads $70

That's about all of my choices, I have pretty much every other accessory or an aftermarket equivalent... So what do you guys think I should go for?

dont spend the money on the interior light kit... if you want to do interior lights get the cold cathodes from oznium.com... they are only like $7...

The brake pads were on back order, my set showed up today... only took 6 weeks to get...

I personally would get the steering wheel if I had to choose, but its all on you man!

yeah i had a car show were i won $250 in service parts and it was atleast 70 miles but thats what i put toward my trd exhaust.. break pads wouldnt be a bad idea, then u can go back and get an oil change lol
