Rattles
 

I bought my 2009 Scion XD a year ago, brand new. Since the very beginning I've had various rattles. They're intermittent, of course, so when I tell the Toyota techs they tell me they can't do anything to fix them until they can hear them, too.

One of the rattles is more of a squeak, and I think it's the front passenger side seat is loose.

Another is now the passenger side window rattling when it's down a bit.

Another has been rattles in the front vents. The Toyota tech was actually able to hear this one and tried to fix it (it wouldn't rattle while he had the A/C on, but when I turned the heat on instead we got the rattle). He packed the dash with more insulation, but I'm still getting intermittent rattles in the dash.

Anyone else having these kinds of issues?

Thanfully they're not in the engine, but I'm a bit worried that my precious XD isn't the car I thought it was.

(No accidents or fender-benders either, btw. No trauma for the little XD.)

ya iv got some my driver side does the same as your passenger window does as i roll it almost all the way up . my dash has a slight squeek on bumpy roads

Build quality on these cars are sub par to be honest. I have not seen single xD were the weather stripping had ran correctly on every side window.

i havent had any road noise issues . my noises are probly cuz iv had my car a part
