real quick write up on how to do it: 1. preheat oven to no more than 250 degrees 2. remove front bumper 3. remove both headlights 4. suspend each headlight in the oven (do not let it touch any part of the oven itself, as it will melt the casing) 5. after a minute or 2 take the headlight out of the oven and attempt to pry open between the lens and the casing (you will have to repeatedly reheat the lights to keep the glue soft enough for you to get the lens entirely off) 6. take apart the casing and paint what ever your like (I removed the yellow reflector as well before painting) 7. reassemble the headlight, and squeeze the lens back onto the casing 8. reheat the headlight and then squeeze the lens again so you get a good seal 9. do the same for the other headlight 10. reinstall the headlights on the car 11. reinstall the front bumper side note: before painting the casing you will want to sand down anything that will be painted, primer first, paint, then clear it |

Another question. How long have you had your cf hood and have you thought about putting on hood pins or is it not really necessary?

I have had it on since this past Christmas (Christmas day actually) and no I haven't even considered pins, completely useless IMHO...

Thank you. It looks like I will be moving to stage 2 with the xD soon... I am picking up tC injectors this weekend and will be soon adding either an SAFC-II or a GReddy E-Manage...
After figuring out if I can successfully install/tune I will be moving to finish my Turbo build... |

The white is the Lexus IS 350 Glacier Frost Mica, so the color shifts between blue, purple, silver and pink pearls... its looks crazy in person, unfortunately the pictures really do no justice to the color at all... |
Oooo, iridescence... now you'll have to get a set of those wheels that have that iridescent chrome finish on the rims, lol!

The wheels are going to the powder coater this week or next, they are getting two toned to match the paint scheme :)
