Need Help
 

Okay so I am having major problems with my xD that just started today out of the blue!

-Turned it on this morning to leave and all of my indicators were on (traction control off but it was on) and so my father tested, it showed no computer problems.

-Drove around for a bit and went to the gas station, went to put it in park but the shifter wouldn't budge.

-Once I got into park (and turned off) and I released the brake it started rolling backwards so threw the E brake on.

-Went to start it and the engine won't catch, still have full power.

-The car is reading that it's in reverse so whenever I put the e brake down it rolls backwards.

-Got it to start once in neutral but it still read that the car was in reverse, turned it off and tried it again yet it wouldn't start up again.


It's a 2008 (automatic) model and this is the first problem I have ever had like this!

Sounds like you have an electrical issue possibly. I believe the automatic tranny is electronic like everything else.

If it is still under warrenty take it to the dealer.
