emblems

has anybody tried using acetone on their emblems to see if its chrome under the paint. i have in the past stripped the paint off of gmc and chevy emblems to reveal a pretty nice chrome emblem. i am hoping the scion emblems will be like that.

they could be....I have seen a chrome Scion logo
