Constant Faint Beeping
 

My xD makes constant faint beeping noises (while driving) that sound like the door lock beeps, but are much quieter. It happens all the time and I hear it mostly at low speeds around parking lots and such. What is this noise? I was thinking it's a computer resetting itself.

do you have an after market sound system? It could be a grounding problem. I currently have that problem but mine makes a squealing noise.

No, my eletronics are all stock. I have a feeling it's a computer for the ABS, TC, tranny, or something.

so there are no warning lights on your dash... it could be a malfunction with the dash cluster or the cpu

I had a beeping noise caused by the aux audio cable. When one end is plugged in and the other is lying on the floor a faint beeping will come through the speakers.
