CAI or Short-ram

I cant decide. My xD is First and only car I have ever purchased, and the water going into the engine possibility scares me! =X. Fujita looks clean as hell, but is it all around safer to go with the K&N Short ram? Another question is with a CAI does it stall the engine when it simply rains, or do you have to be experiencing a flash flood incident for you to notice? I just recently threw the Tanabe df210 lowering springs on my car so its pretty low... Anyways just hoping you all can send me in the right direction and answer some of my questions. Thanks:boxed:

Its more like flash floods that will affect it. I ran a CAI on my civic for like 4 years and never once had an issue. My xD has a short ram cause I had done the Spectre intake filter on the xD before any CAI's were available.

the cai on the xd doesnt really sit all that low... the fujita and injen ones sit just below the headlight... so in reality you would have to be mobbing like 3 feet of water before it would even get close to the intake filter... plus the splash guards underneath the front end will stop any splashes that may occur... : )
