RS 1.0,s Heads up
 

After taking the D to the body shop after a retread nailed the front bumper it was told to me that if the damd kit is damaged it is hard to get another piece to replace. Im ging on a week without my car to where the body shop said if they could of got the front lip the next day it would of been out of the shop in two days.

I called around to SET and some other places and they are trying to help me find the lower bumper.

I've never seen it sold anywhere. I think you gonna hafta go through the dealership.

I have heard the same thing. The dealer has to verify your number and will then order the parts from Japan? I believe they do this to keep our bodywork exclusive, as it is my understanding that you cannot buy the "kit" and install it on an xD.

This is very cool in that we are the only ones that get to sport this look, but on the other hand, when something happens.. You will probably have to wait a while for the pieces to come in.

gotDAMD got hit, but luckly it was the top part of the back bumper they had it fixed and painted in less than a week

I called Scion Customer Service and they found me the part in 1 day and had it shipped to the repair shop. I even kept the valance and lip so I can drill them to the ceiling in my garage!

Long story short came over a hill in the dark at 5am and there was the entire tread from a semi in my lane. Jumped the phucker at about 70mph!

DAMN..... sucks but glad its gettin fixed!

Really didn't need to blow the extra $$$ on the deductible at the holidays, and it went against me cause I didn't find the truck the tread blew off of!! But, shes all better now, thanks to Scion Corp!:)

DAMD glad to hear your repair went smoothly and there were no hang-ups!

LOL! Only hang up was the valance and lip and a few call to Scion Corp fixed that!:)

They couldnt find the frount bumper so they repaired it and done a great job but still wished they put a new one on.

I know someone who was rearended and they had to get the lower lip through the dealership. Hope no one hits my car, they still can't seem to see it when they pull out, not like it blends into the scenery, lol.

If someone can't see an RS1 they have vision problems! :laughing1: I can easily spot mine in a crowded parking lot-

yeah i love being a unique color, when i park on one side of walmart and come out on the other end, i can almost always spot my car!!! and i loooooooove being stared at when i drive!!! idk if its the color or they see a chick in a nice looking car lol

Oh I get a lot of ladies asking me about the car while im stopped at the light.

lolz ross is crazy selling sarah kit... lolz but i guess... and at a 1000 thats a steal considering is already painted would be a great backup : ) maybe imma have to hit him up and put it on melissas magnetic grey mettalic xd.. would look sick
