rhino74s 06-20-2009 06:25 PM

the style of the wheel looks good but the offset is really wrong. Just sticks out way too far.

Cylon_xD 06-20-2009 08:06 PM

I thought you said you had to get rid of your 'D, Diz....???

xDizzle 06-21-2009 12:58 AM

yea i am those are my friends wheels that he got for his tC i thought id try them on for shyts and giggles lol

Cylon_xD 06-21-2009 07:47 AM

Ok... But wow, wouldn't those wheels stick out the same way on a tC too? don't the tC and xD have about the same wheel offset requirements??

rhino's right, they look real nice on the NBM xD, just the offset is way off...is that a gunmetal finish on the spokes, or just silver? I was going to get my first set of R1 wheels with some gunmetal on them, but i didn't know if it would look right with the blue car, so I got black finish instead...

xDizzle 06-21-2009 09:33 AM

yea its the gunmetal finish i personally like how they look on my friends tc

Cylon_xD 06-21-2009 10:05 AM

cool, what color is his tC?

xDizzle 06-22-2009 12:17 AM

it used to be blue like us but now hes getting it painted hopefully they still look good on the car when its done

Okay, I meant to ask you what you ended up doing.

I told Troy that I actually cut out the entire middle piece (the plastic) and just put the top and bottom together. Gave a helluva nice drop on it!

xDizzle - I think you should get front wheels like that and leave the rear ones as-is. I like the mix n' match!

Those look nice on the d. Dizz i like the sport max's. I had the black ones in a 15x8 with a 0 offset and they stuck out a little.

scion4us 06-22-2009 11:22 PM

Was having the same idea for mine. How far did they stick out? Rubbing issues?
