rear bumper led reflectors
 

Any one else did this change to there rear bumper reflectors swap out to led reflectors...Got mine form Amazon.com and Ebay has em.

I should have gone with the clear version...still I like it.

not yet, im planing on getting them soon. was it just a plug n play deal or did you have to custom wire them in.

quick splice on tail light wires

black wire to white with black line
red wire to green with white line
white wire to solid green line

don't need to remove rear bumper, phillips screwdriver to remove screw off old reflector, find a small rubber plug just below the tail light to feed the wire

project should take you about 30 minutes

Finally installed mine as well, but blew a few fuses during the process lol. Looks great, and adds safety.

I have not tried these reflector lamps but they seems to be nice. I think it is now time to try them and post some pics:party36::party36:

I added a hitch & trailer wiring at the same time I did the Reflector/LED swap. Didn't want to splice into the vehicle wiring so I added a plug in splitter onto the trailer wiring. Then I cut one of the plug in 4 wire splitter ends off & used the splitter wiring to splice into for the LEDs. I did have to add one splice into the backup light though to get power to the white LEDs.

I also added a reflective strip of tape between the LEDs as I didn't want to lose some reflectivity for when the lights are off.

All in all it was an easy mod which I like a lot & which adds a measure of safety.

I did not know they work with the reverse lights too.

Your tail light bulbs look super bight! What types of bulbs did you use?
