Help Hatch Stuck
 

Hello xD community;
About a month ago my girlfriend closed the rear hatch on her 08 scion xD and the handle to her purse got caught in the latch. Now the problem is the hatch wont open. I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem and how they handled it. Maybe someone has suggestions...anything helps because we really don't want to pay the stealership $180 to look at the thing...

i don't think no1 has encountered that problem. kinda odd that has happened. 180 is a hefty price

sometimes my hatch seals shut in hot weather, it takes a couple good pulls to unstick it. not really related, sorry.

I'm not sure if it's fair to call the dealer the stealership since there was a user error that might cost YOU.

When you go to Vegas or any Casino, who wins, you or the "Dealer" ???
