Infinitely Adjustable Wiper Mist Setting

I just got some information from another forum's Guru and got the Stalk that has the words, rather than the Icons. I didn't want to deal with the scratches, and worn paddle, etc. so instead of a junkyard part, I got a new one at half the cost of the local Stealership (freight included).

It is oh-so-nice now when on the freeway, and I don't need to keep the hand on the wiper stalk, cause the pause-wipe is too slow, and the low speed is too fast...... I'm just picky LOL

Here is a link to the info if anyone is interested in this 5-minute mod.
Prob $50 junkyard part, or more with a new part.

I like this... thanks for posting it. I would also like to get the two-speed rear wiper feature to work. This mod is in my near future... that's for sure... especially since I have contacts at a Toyota/Lexus salvage yard!

I have designed an intermittent pause circuit for the rear wiper unit with the new stalk.

See the attached. It will be put into service as soon as I get the time to assemble the parts. The Stalk works very well. BTW, We got one for my buddy, and installation on his "D" took all of 3 minutes.... took a minute longer coz he dropped the screw when replacing the steering column cover.... LOL
