very nice! I have to redo my interiorglow. My passenger side if off because the dealership installed them. But glad to see your getting started nicely.

Looks great!

oh yea! We got a Totoro fan
|
Oh yea, me and totoro go waaaaaay back haha :)
|
Looks good! The only thing I remember about pink LEDs is that they can't actually make a "true" pink LED, so they are only coated with a pink film on a white LED, so they usually fade eventually. But I think they look awesome.
I just redid all of my interior lights with green LEDs from garage1217, he has some great lights. I'd love to eventually redo my cluster gauges, but don't want to attempt it myself and can't live without my car long enough to have him do it, haha. LED strips under the seats and dash are the next time mod on my list I think... they just set a car off so much. Great start to your car!! |

hmm good point about the pinks fading. this kit only cost me $30 so i guess if i had to replace them, its not the worst thing in the world.
and yea, definitely got some pointers from garage1217 about the best way to make my gauges look the way i want them. going to make the speedometer pink/white, the rpms red, turn arrows pink, gas pink, and odometer pink. going to keep my service lights the same for now. though i cant decide if i want to make my needles pink. i'm kind've tentative to change them, even with garage1217's tutorial. |
nice! finding totoro merchandise isn't the easiest. lol.

Lookin' good.
Jeremy at Garage 1217 is a great asset. I have purchased lots of product from him for gauge swaps and custom stuff. He has good product and is very knowledgeable on LED's. I would recommend that you use two layers of pink film behind your speedo when you do it. It makes the pink a lot deeper and richer in color and will really pop. You can hold the face up with bright light behind it to check your work before you install it. Good luck and have fun :) |

really? You shouldnt have told me that, I dont need to spend any more money now lol

Make sure your car starts with the gauge cluster out and disconnected. Some cars will not start without the guage cluster plugged in.
