Autolocking Doors on a BSP 08 XD
 

I have designed and installed auto door locks for my XD. The Doors lock automatically and unlock when the engine is turned off. More tweaks to the design are planned, but here's what the system looks like.

Do they lock at a certain speed?

Version 1 Locked @ 7 mph
Ver 2 lock as soon as the car starts moving.

I'm not sure what the best way is but maybe I'll devise a circuit to adjust the "Lock actuating speed" later on.

lol I started up with 1 relay and a few components and look at it now!

LOL, it is very elaborate... I really should have paid more attention in class..

old thread, any progress/updates on this? I'd be very interested in putting this together myself...
