License Plate Re-mount
Got this from www.gominigo.com
Was real happy with the quality of the product and the strength. I drive an area where the wind often get to 30-60mph and have had zero problems. Great product to be sure! http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y52...D/DSCF8783.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y52...domPics012.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y52...D/DSCF0922.jpg |
Yeah, thats definetaly a nice item. Have seen it that before and posted up on Scikotics about them. Just wish the dealer hadn't drilled holes in my front bumper when I was finishing the paperwork! :emotions122:

We're lucky here in Louisiana, we don't use front plates. :bleh:

They want to ID us coming and going here in Cali, although I still see some cars without front plates. I have actually thought of still going to this mount and put in color coded plugs in the screw holes. What do you think?

Eh, if you just like the look of having it more to one side.... then go for it.
Is it really worth it though? Looks good where you have it IMO. |
I may have to get this mount, maybe. I had the Alltec plate relocator until this past weekend. I didn't have it tightened down enough and it got loose on the drive to Seattle, I noticed it was loose and didn't have a short screwdriver to tighten it, stowed the plate for a show and forgot to put it back up before leaving. Loose bracket and 70+ mph pulled it off the bumper, heard a thud and it was gone. I feel sorry for the cars behind me when that came flying out from under my car, lol. I may just put the plate back in the front window where it was before the cops told me I needed to mount it on the bumper. If I get pulled over again then I'll tell them to buy me a new bracket and I will gladly remount it, but the last one cost me $50 and I don't feel like buying another. Wife said to just bite the bullet and mount it on the bumper, I say no, lol.
