Constant Faint Beeping

My xD makes constant faint beeping noises (while driving) that sound like the door lock beeps, but are much quieter. It happens all the time and I hear it mostly at low speeds around parking lots...

Unfortuantely, if it costs the same in the US as it does in the UK, I don't see many people dropping $30k on a little...

I thought cruise control was standard on all xDs. My '10 came with it.
