real quick write up on how to do it:

1. preheat oven to no more than 250 degrees
2. remove front bumper
3. remove both headlights
4. suspend each headlight in the oven (do not let it touch any part of the oven itself, as it will melt the casing)
5. after a minute or 2 take the headlight out of the oven and attempt to pry open between the lens and the casing (you will have to repeatedly reheat the lights to keep the glue soft enough for you to get the lens entirely off)
6. take apart the casing and paint what ever your like (I removed the yellow reflector as well before painting)
7. reassemble the headlight, and squeeze the lens back onto the casing
8. reheat the headlight and then squeeze the lens again so you get a good seal
9. do the same for the other headlight
10. reinstall the headlights on the car
11. reinstall the front bumper

side note:
before painting the casing you will want to sand down anything that will be painted, primer first, paint, then clear it
