Or even better pick up another dash cluster from your local dealership and seperate the gear indicator and splicing the wires into the factory one. then you would have 2 indicators, one on your dash and one next to the shifter.

I like this idea.
But remember with automatics. All the way up is Park. First click in Reverse. and Third click is Drive.
Unless you have some weird transmission. lol
But seriousness It should be doable but maybe cost and take fabrication.
