Genuine coolness can come from embracing one’s true nature and reaping the rewards therein; just look at the dorky kid who built a cyborg in his basement, .

The Scion xD has all the makings of a future anti-cool alternative classic. It’s the bottom-rung model from a value/youth oriented brand and packs a decent 128hp into its subcompact package. Though, when our tester arrived kitted out with a TRD exhaust, suspension and 18″ wheels, we had to wonder is this xD cool, or just trying to be cool? . . . . ."
