so 2010 was good to me and the xd
i got 8 trophys and 4 were 1st places
my car has progressed alot in the recent months
and im not even close to being done with this car
also i think im the first street driven xd to grace the pages of www.canibeat.com
its filed under the autocon LA coverage but its just this pic

i installed k sport coilovers and i have a sway bar on the way
also ive got ahold of www.realcamber.com and they will be making xd camber kits
for the rear in -3 and -5 camber, im gonna get -5 so i will post pics as soon as possible
i should be getting the camber kit in a couple of weeks
so in case you didnt see
im low
but i want to go lower on my coilovers and i can
so i if i get accepted into wekfest im goin lower for sure

i also got a new set of rims
ssr vienna
17x7.5 +30 (with 20mm spacer making it+10 offset)215/40/17 nankang
17x8 +36 (with 8mm spacer making it+28 offset) 215/45/17 nankang

and updated my interior with some new paint
and a giant crystal shift knob and a nardi wood steering wheel

love the wheels but they seem too small for the car + body kit. never could seem to get over the body kits for our car minus the RS1 DAMD kit, they just throw the car off IMO. your offsets could be fine tuned some too, but having 7.5 and 8" wheels makes tire choices slim for stretching and thus making fitment a little tougher.

Also more information on those camber kits, i was looking for some not too long ago. only problem is i dont think i can run camber in the back with my setup, i may literally have 15-20mm of space between my rim and suspension/inner fenders in the back.

you cant even put you finger between my rear tire and the fender edge
this next season i hope to repaint and get some new more agressive wheels
im thinking 17x8.5 front and 17x10 rear

and i will let you know when the camber fit is done

the reason you dont have any fender gap is because of the tires youre running, im running the same tires as you have on the rear, but on 9.5" wide wheels, allows me much better fitment.

the car overall looks good, i think with the body kit you should up to 18's. for some reason they just seem so small, or maybe the pics just dont do the wheel size justice which is entirely possible.

The main thing is that you like what you're running, and i think that paint will help you big time in the long run.

and 17x10 is going to be extremely difficult to fit unless you plan on doing a hardcore fender pull. with 9.5's im poking and dont have any suspension clearance left to give

i know with the next set of rims im gonna run mad strech on the tires
my front fenders have been pulled already
and im planning on making a small fender flare for the rear to fit the by 10's
ive been on so many sets of 18's but if i put it on 18's its gonna raise my car up and i want to go lower
and i cant wait for paint ( a non oem scion color )
oh and i just realized you and i are both 23 and named bob and goin for flush

Cell phone pics from a dealer event. They wanted a few owner cars to display during a graphic art contest for a local catering companys xB wrap.

can't wait to see the 10's on there. i'm definitely going 9.5 on the rear, as i should have done when i first ordered my xd but i was toooooo chicken to do it and only went with a 9. yeah the guy who worked on the set up for me still harasses me about this.

I'm changing up my setup.

just ordered a set of 25mm adapters up from 20mm to bring my 9.5"s down to 30mm offset from 35, and more importantly its fully hubcentric to the xD and to the vette centerbore (and the guy at adaptec gave me the measurements for the bmw centerbore for a hubcentric ring. can anyone say BMW BBS RS style 5s as my next wheel setup?) vs the set of adapters i have right now which are generic.

10s are gonna be a really really tough fit. its gonna require an intensive pull because with 9.5s at 35mm offset you have 5mm or so suspension clearance and youre flush with the fender wells. Hope someone can pull it off though.. will potentially look sick

that's crazy doing the 10. yeah after measuring that would be about right on the clearance for the 9.5.
