Default noob joining- please advice
Hi I'm Ching and own a stock 2008 barcellona red xD.

I'm riding stock for over a year but I'm finally gonna pimp it up

I'm gonna be:
~ adding a shark fin antenna. already bought it yey!
~ dropping it down with DF210's coz looks like that's popular and didn't hear anything bad about them yet.- any other spring recomendations?
~ get new shoes on it, thinking of 18" rims- websites where to get??
~ HID's are always great, so getting them- still thinking of what color?
~ having windows tinted this weekend hopefully. yey!

any help would be appreciated

-sweet post pics when you get the sharkfin on
-I am running TRD springs and have never had any issues, ride is near stock and handling is much better than stock, BUT I have heard really good things about the DF210's, the stance is perfect, and ride quality is not compromised...
-depends on what kind of wheels you want, but I usually look through wheelsnext.com, or wheelmax.com
-I am running an 8000K hid kit from ebay, hasnt steered me wrong yet, color is fairly blue, but not extreme.
-Tint was one of my first mod too, always a good choice

Welcome to the site!

welcome to the forums. can't wait to see your progress.

depending on your budget rims can get up there with 18's. also how you want to run your 18's. for me i'm on coilovers so running a little lower on the stance and running sitting almost flush. just remember it's all in the tire set up. i've not rubbed yet.

Hey Ching welcome to the forum! All the mods those guys said are sweet. Something else that will be available soon are these new headlight "eyelids", they are almost ready for production from what I hear.

They will be produced by www.forjworks.com and will be available in all colors.

TNX to everyone for the warm welcome.

Yeah! I'm blowing a whole paycheck on these mods. I think I'll go for the 18" rims last so that when the springs are set, I'll only have to get the wheels aligned once alltogether.

yea over a year but I am still getting girls with the stock look, they really find the xD cute. But with the mods, I don't think I'm gonna have any free time left.

the eyelids are sweet! but they're not on production yet huh.. I was thinking on smoked headlights but now I have another prospect hmmm.. will hafta have some thinking about what to decide..
8000K fairly blue would go nice with the eyelid, but if I would go for smoked I'll go with the brightest light. What is the brightest light?

heaps of choices for the rims, so hard to decide

Welcome and sounds like your ready to get started...When buying rims, offset is very important...When buying tires, tire size is important also...So when your ready to bite the bullet, don't hesitate to ask questions...

Oh yea, and don't forget about the custom Carbon Fiber Wiper Cowls that are almost ready for production too...So much fun stuff to blow your hard earned money on...Here's what they look like...These are just some of the prototypes:
