Kinda figured, but wasn't sure. I know it wasn't push rods!

Congrats to the team on their 2nd place finish in Maine this past weekend. From watching some of the videos, the course looked rough.

i see on your blog you guys use 5w-30 synthetic motul oil. is there any benefit using that grade as oppose to the recomended graded? can i use it on a stock motor or should i just stick to 5w-20 synthetic?

The fluids that we are using right now is what our engineers with motul recommend now that we are running a turbo system on the xD. If your engine is still relatively stock, using the recommended is always a safe bet. A key factor is always your environment, depending on where you live and the weather conditions can also influence what you should use.

The Rally America season is done for now but we are considering doing some Canadian events. As for next year, we are looking to do a combination of Rally American and Rally Cross events. What do you think?

The new set-up allowed us to increase the horsepower to 200 to the wheels. We were not able to push it as much as we wanted to so we believe that there is a lot more potential for us to increase power. We kept the boost still relatively conservative..i think we were at 7-8 lbs of boost.

We experienced a small leak in our down pipe. The heat leaking out really didn't help since our ecu and clutch cables were melted together. We're happy we even crossed the finish line.

Just read your article in Dsport, and it was awesome as well as insightful. So you guys were running 6.5 psi with TC injectors and bosch fuel pump on 91 octane making 165.1hp and 183.4 torque. Man that car is a torque monster! Also saw your dyno chart and saw the noticeable bump of power from the dual VVT-I was a little more subtle. Keep up the great works guys.

We're pushing 200hp now but we haven't really "fine tuned" the engine yet but the power definitely helped us in New England.

Default Turbo for your xD
Just curious....how many serious buyers would want a turbo set-up for their xD? If there are more than 5...i think GReddy is considering making an off the shelf set-up. Please reply. Of course price is always a factor but like any other turbo upgrade, the costs will be similar. is there an ideal price range?

That would be really cool. I guess the price would depend on the power output. I'm guessing their 6.5psi setup would be around 4k? Also, this timing stings a little. Just spent 1k for exhaust that will not work for turbo setups.

Is say keep it around 3k...Turbo set ups for the tC and the xB2 can be purchased for right around that price...It would have to plug and play...

when the turbo kit came out for the rally xd originally you guys were running 4 psi. that allowed for use of stock internals without worry about damage. for that ide take a 5 psi kit and im saying for everything 3k sounds good. no more than 4k. and what would the kit include?

Thanks for the feedback. Will be meeting with them in the coming weeks to discuss this. If there is any additional interest or buyers, please let me know.

interested yes. Can I throwdown money for a promise to buy/groupbuy unfortunately not. It would probably be a year or two.

If it works with stock internals or has every needed and plug and play pretuned stand alone or something I would say $4k tops unless coming with major internals then a little more obviously.

If it needs to be tuned at all I would say stay around $3k mark.
