Default Borla Exhaust
Where can I get a Borla Exhaust for the xD because I cannot find one online or maybe I am just searching in the wrong places. After hearing it there is no going back. Any suggestions as to where I can find one?

Thanks.

Borla does not have an axle or cat back made for the xD, you will have to find a Borla muffler that fits and have an exhaust shop fab you up something.

I had a Borla on my xA and loved it. Thought about taking it off before I traded it in and try to make it fit the xD, but let it go with the car.

I love my precision-muffler exhaust which uses a Mangaflow muffler. Cruising around at 2000 RPM gives you nice deep tone that sounds so nice. In reality the Mangaflow, Strup, DC Sports, TRD, or any other brand will not give you the same sound as a Borla. Check the local shops to see what they would charge you and make sure to explain you want a axle back and not a cat-back. You could probably have everything done for the same price as one of the cheaper axle back kits.

Hey I like the exhaust sound, does it give any noticeable power? Im running a CAI and it shows some pull. Also what tailights do you have I really like the smoky look to them.

Stock tails that I had smoked and added some hot lava too...As far as power, butt dyno says a little bit and it did help my mpg by 2-3 or so...

Yeah this is the one video that inspired me to get one but it just seems like too much of a hassel to get one. So I am going to go with the next best, a STRUP exhaust.

Yep the bends on the axle back are not hard to recreate at all.

No, their are a few ways you can go about doing it. You can call Borla itself or jegs/summit and explain what you are trying to do (they may ask for measurements). They should be able to recommend you a p/n and then you either buy from them or try another site to see if you can find the muffler cheaper. Whatever muffler shop you bring it to should have all the piping, hangers, and flange to make an axle back style exhaust.

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...a+muffler+2.25

http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...r%202.25&dds=1

Both Summit and Jegs carry the muffler you will probably need.
