That's pretty cool, and also it cost less than I payed for the custom one that I got. Any back info on this or the company?

it be ideal if it were for a turbo. but I'm having my doubts it will make a good 7hp/tq. The price just seems a bit too steep for the amount of power it may put out

If it does make 7ish HP then that is about $100 per HP that does seem kinda steep. But has it been dynoed to get true numbers

On the flip side I like the idea and that this is possible being made.

its just strange because i met one of there employees at a meet and he seemed cool and knowledgable. he was even gonna hook me up with a HID for like 50% off. but that really doesnt say much about the business aspect. i wouldnt buy the manifold anyway just to expensive to purchase without even knowing the power output.

i know i just said the price is expensive but compared to the je performance manifold thats relatively cheap. when i was in maryland i spoke to the guy that worked on the intake mani for the XD he said the output wasnt what they wanted. they claim 15 hp and 7 ft-lbs but the price was just over 1100 not including shipping. so it was scrapped. they said its a by-customer order product. there is possible reason to believe this new mani can put out those numbers i stated before. i guess sumone will eventually just step up and make the buy :/

i think its a much better option to just do a motor swap or mooch from corolla guys than hope for xD performance parts. this is coming from a stance low n slow guy, but it just sees more realistic at this point.

^^ This

My stance is that if I was that seriously intent on engine performance, I wouldn't have bought an Xd. At the time I bought my car, I believe it was the pretty much highest HP rating in it's class, at least higher than Versa or Fit, so I felt like I was already getting pretty much the most you can get out this class of vehicle. Beyond that, I don't mind sinking some money into a couple mods that may increase HP slightly, such as the CAI I have or possibly an exhaust down the road, but I would never consider spending a large chunk of cash hoping to get a few extra HP's. Just my 2 cents.
