Default Buffed my car and sprayed some VHT Nightshades!
Got mine done last weekend. Beginning of my black out for my xD! Prepped them, used adhesion promoter, sprayed them dark, cleared them about 3-4 times, wet sanded, compounded, polished, sealed, and glazed them lol. Turned out fantastic IMO. The pics of the back outside make the lights look lighter than they actually are. The sun was shining directly on them. Also yes you can see my incandescent bulbs through them but I have all led bulbs for the entire car in the mail now! Just throwing up some results for others to see if they are interested!

All taped off and lights removed

Tails on, no clear. It was going to rain so I wanted some pics of the paint

After 6 hours of buffing: 100% swirls/fine scratch free! Still before tail clear... Sorry cell phone pics may show up hazy...

Wow, great job on those lights. I get tired of seeing nasty, splotchy, results. You took your time and they look great.

Thanks! Ya they turned out great especially after the high speed buffing! Taillights actually show through nicely also. Next will be wheels and blacking out the emblems.. Also debating on hydro dipping/wrapping many of the interior pieces (including getting rid of the god-awful tan headliner/pillar combo they through on this car! May be getting some black suede soon to take care of it all..
