Default 2009 SEMA xD Rally Car
Never imagined I would see a Scion xD converted into a competition rally racer, but it's been done. See what Sparco did with one in the article with accompanying photos at this link> http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/03/s...n-xd-rallying/

That is too funny. I was about to post that same car when I saw on MSN the other day. It does looke pretty cool looking as a rally car. I wonder how fast it can get up too.

Probably fairly fast. In the article and list of mods they mention going to special shocks and springs, for higher clearance, shocking and rebounding. Also noticed a full roll cage, no doubt giving it extra stiffness albeit more wieght. But I'm sure they tweaked the motor for higher output for extended periods.

We all know how nimble our cars are, just imagine driving one specially built to race/rally. I'd love to take it out and flog it around some rally course and see for myself, but, If wishes were horses..
