Default I've come to the conclusion...
This is a sequal to my custom intake set-up, i found intake pipes from an older project i was working on ('99 maxima) and i used the pipes to try different set ups on my car, I tried the fujita style and injen style set ups and still none of them compare to the custom short ram design by hps. the fujita sound good and performed well, the injen type set-up was just loud with no power until 3500 and my original design (hps set up) provided the best combination of power and sound. power was felt again through-out the band approx. from 2300 to redline, so if people just wanna do a simple mod to there car i hope this helps again

as I always say. short ram will get you immediate results. cold air gets you more consistant results or a time period. engine has a very short low restriction distance to get it's air resulting quicker throttle response. cold air may seem to starve an engine with all that piping, but giving more linear response over a broader range keeping the intake temps lower
