Default Ipod USB Stopped Working
Hi all,
I recently updated my ipod touch software to version 4.3. Everything played fine and was controllable through my stereo (2010 Scion XD) before this update. Now whenever I connect my ipod to the stereo it charges via the USB, but it does not play through the stereo (only the ipod speakers). What happened? I've tried two different ipod cords. Any suggestions on a fix?

Down grade your ipod, it was your update that did it. Just google/youtube on how its not that hard.

Default USB outlet not connected all the way
When I bought my xD and hooked up my I- Touch to the USB, same thing was happening. I took it into Toyota when they were putting my tint on and told them what was up, and they looked into it. They found that the USB outlet in the car wasnt hooked up all the way... so maybe check that out. Once they connected it all the way, my I-Touch works fine when I hook it up via USB
