Dealership can probably order you one. Unless you're talking about a hanes or chillton.

The one you get from the dealership is like your standard owners manual. Hanes and Chillton are HIGHLY detailed DIY manuals for just about anything on the car. They tend to cost more and you have to order them from online.

If you look in your owners manual there is information for ordering the official Toyota factory repair manuals. It is (I believe) a four part set, one electrical manual, two engine/chassis manuals and a body manual. They are the ones the dealership techs use. There is also a link somewhere on this site for a PDF copy of the factory manuals.

Went back and found the link http://www.scionxdforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=769

Hey bobolinko like the Repair Manual you put up.

It seems like it is missing the Removal & Installation section. Is there a way you could re upload the whole Repair Manual for 2008 Scion XD?

Take some time and look through the pdf again. I have referenced it several times myself and I have found that the order of some of the sections and information seems to skip around a bit. Like there seems to be some body and electrical stuff between the sections on the automatic and the manual transmissions which are usually right together.

I have found it confusing at times, but with a little patience I eventually stumble across what I need.
