Default TRD 18 inch wheels and car wash damage?
I really don't like car washes, but let's face it, the road salt in the northeast can be really bad.

I am running the factory TRD 18 wheels and wondering whether anyone else is concerned about scraping them on the guide track in a car wash? The wheel is sort of inside out and the spokes actually protrude beyond the tire side walls when you run the 40 series tires.

I love the black wheels on my black XD and don't want to mar them. But, I'm wondering if I'm worrying about nothing. Perhaps the car wash is designed to prevent such things?

Honestly I'd be more worried about curb rash from a normal street curb than I would about running through a car wash, Ive run painted and powdered rims for a while between the D and a few other cars, and while I dont often, I do run through auto washes occasionally, and I've never had a problem. Just be observant as to what youre driving onto and how close you are
