Any body hear anything about the front and rear strut bars coming out for our car? are they even out yet? I know there is a front strut bar out but im really lookin for a rear one as well. And also does anyone know about any other company that provides a sway bar other than trd

Alot of yaris parts fit our car. The TRD rear sway bar is the same part number for both yaris and XD (they both have the same chassis). Microimage has stuff for the yaris/xD.

my next question is about the strut bars, the yaris has both the front and the rear applications, would those be able to fit the xd as well?

Seems like I remember some front strut brace grounded out the battery, but I dont remember which. Here a list from microimage http://www.microimageonline.com/parts-Scion-xD.html
I'm trying to find out if the rear lower strut brace will fit? If it does I'm gonna pick it up.

ugh... STB's for xD's = useless

the car is already really rigid. the rear sway bar has been the only thing i've heard that makes the car handle better. (my first and most favorite mod)

but if just for looks...

does the sway bar really make that much of a difference? ive been hearing so much hype i want one now lol, 19 or 23 mm?, and microimage is stating that the rear and front underbraces for the car are compatible with both yaris / xd applications how true can that be? and my final question is about the strut bars...do they serve any purpose for our car or is it more for show, and which one is the better strut bar?

strut towe bar is for looks only. That's why toyota took back their trd strut from production. Though if anyone finds one. Let me kno lol .. and I wonder if yaris strut works on xd since micro image sells them in the xd section.

so basically any strut bar is useless for our car -__- i was hoping it would add some better handling.

I wouldn't say the strut tower bar would not stiffen it, it will, but the noticeable gains by the human factor will most likely be minimal to zero.

So basically we wouldn't notice it but there would be a difference if machine tested. Underbracing would make a better difference.

I'm going to see if this will fit. I just got it from micro image. It's a lower/rear strut brace. It should stiffen the hell out of the torsion beam! It's made for the Yaris.

My handling improved a ton. I noticed a HUGE difference.. and then i lowered the car on Coilovers a few weeks later

Thank you Garm at Micro Image. I love my new addition! I haven't went crazy testing it (on public streets), but it feels like it has better turn in. It was a little harder to install than the TRD sway bar, but works well with it. I am going to get springs and shocks when I get new wheels later. I'm building on a budget here.
