Post Wiper Replacement...
I need some step-by-step help replacing the driver side wiper (#26). I bought a new one from Costco. I had changed wipers for different cars but this one I couldn't find how to remove the existing (OE) one. Can some one show (pictures will be more helpful) me how to remove the old wiper and replace with a new one.

thanks folks for your help.

there is a tab that you need to press to unclip it from the arm. that's about as easy as it gets.

I always just get refills from Toyota. When I ordered what I thought were refills from TRD Sparks, I got the whole wiper blades, front and rear. Anyway, in most cases, the OEM blades will work better, since they are designed to work with the curve of the windshield. Not to mention it is cheaper to replace the inserts than the whole blade.

Don't throw away your OEM wipers -- you might decide to put them back on with new inserts in the future.

$5.73 from TRD Sparks... that's the blade AND the refill.

wipers123 online has been a lifesaver for me over the years. checkout the trico neoform beam blades - they are awesome (and yes, they come in 14" for the passenger side). They don't have the rear wiper blade but I don't think anyone except the dealer have them because they're scion-specific. hope this saves others the time i invested years ago...

Wow waking an old post.

I just go to part store get them when needed. And don't have a back wiper so it doesn't matter.

I live in the country but have several towns 20 minutes in any direction. None of the regular stores (ie walmart, etc.) nor autoparts stores have a beam style blade for the passenger side. LOL - hopefully the stores in your area have A) lookup books available, B) little computer boxes that are NOT dead all the time and/or C) brain dead employees that couldn't answer a question if their life depended on it...let's face it, wiper blades are not a cool part that they tend to learn about...and thus they don't. But I hear ya.
