Arrow 2011 XD in tha house!!
whats goin on out there guys and gals? i wanted to drop a quick hello to all the scion owners out there. My name is evan and i am from texas. I first got involved with scion back in 06 with an XB. may she rest in peace... about two weeks ago i purchased a 2011 XD. First thing i had to do was put the TRD 2" springs and the 18's and tires. Had all that put on at the dealership along with the tint.

Im just trying to piece this thing together bit by bit. overall, i just want a nice ride. since i've brought it home, i've removed the tape on the B-Pillars, painted the brake calipers, smoked the taillights, rear reflectors, and turn signals on mirrors. The latest I've done was to remove the stock muffler, which im now running a resonator with no muffler. can we say loud?? ha.

anyways, i want to say hey and thanks for allowing me access here. hopefully we can all appreciate what we are all doing on here. I will definitely keep pictures coming as i now move to painting and modifiying the interior.

I thought the TRD's were a 1.5" drop? if your already at 2 inches you really cannot go much lower without either using coils or going with an air ride setup. The lowest springs I know of are the S-Techs which only give a 2.2 drop.

im gonna have to check into the other springs out there. and as far as i know, the TRD springs are a 2" drop. that's at least what scion was claiming they were. plus i never really took out a tape measure to see exactly how much lower they made it.

Howdy

I had a first gen B that I lost and am now driving an xD as well. Enjoy your new ride. I miss my B, but have really warmed up to the D.

It may have changed for 2011 since your suspension is suppose to be a little different but for my 2009 TRD are a 1.5 drop.
