Default My RS1 xD w/Fogs-Pics Included
Today I went to Randode's to pick up some Mary Kay that the wife ordered from Randy's wife...I get there and Randy pulls out an off-road light that he got from Clifford (MobileHID) about 4 years ago that has been sitting in his storage cabinet and says lets put this in the xD...I have always wanted fogs for the xD but have wondered where the hell to put them or better yet how would we mount them? The fogs are actually off-road driving lights with 55w 6K HID bulbs...

Took the bumper off and away Randode went with the cutting...He fabbed some mounting brackets that he welded to the frame so that he could attach the lights...I painted them black so they wouldn't rust (not like anyone would see them)...I had to move the washer fluid bottle up a little bit but that was no biggie...Next we used some wire meshing for the holes that we cut...After some adjusting, the lights look sweet...They are very bright and come on with the headlights...My HID's that I got from MobileHID are 6K also so they go nicely together...

Here are the pics, sorry for the quality they are from my crappy cell phone...I had no intentions of doing any mods to the ride

Very cool. I've been wanting to put some behind the grille somewhere.

I totally agree...The front of the RS1 bumper was what I was struggling with...Now with the fogs and the mesh installed it totally changes the look!
