I'm shorter than you and I find the seating position to steering wheel to pedals all off. seat needs to be lower. So much so I installed a 100mm extension to the shifter to help by back

I'm 5'9" (so says my license), and I have no problem is the height and distance. But my dad who is about 6' has to slide the seat all the way back and raise the wheel just a little bit to fit in... But he also has a "beer keg",as I likes to call it, strapped to his belly. lol

well im only about 5'11". i have no issues with the seat all the way back. plenty of room. and i dunno if it helps, but my brother is 6'4" and he has no problems in the passenger seat. he hasn't driven my car, but if i remember right, he did get in the driver seat and could actually fit. lol. now driving it may be a different story. lol

I'm 6ft and for me the xD is almost to small, depends on if your overweight and then the actual length of your legs and torso.

Thanks everyone. I will find out this weekend. I have no problems with my jeep wrangler and its leg space is only about 2 inches more. I will see. Thanks again!

A lot of people aren't used to the seating position in most newer Japanese compact cars. The seating position is a lot more upright. More like you are sitting in a dining chair rather than a recliner. It's a lot different than my VW Golf, but I actually prefer the xD. I feel like an old person when I try to get into my wife's Honda Civic. It's like sitting on the ground. Plus, I have to tilt my head to the side to get into the Civic. Not comfortable at all.

I'm almost 6'3" tall, and I rarely put the seat all the way back. I'm also not a skinny guy by any stretch of the imagination. Sometimes on a long road trip, I will put the seat all the way back... just so I can stretch my legs a bit.

Easy fix: take the seat out! Don't forget to move the jack, though... that wouldn't be comfortable.
