yeah, That's the prices I've been seeing lately too... like I said, I bought mine about 8 months ago... I thought I had heard somewhere that TRD was discontinuing that muffler - if that's the case, that might be why the prices are back up to close to list price, maybe getting hard to find? ... anyone else hear anything about that?

Tip looks different but I have no idea what kind of cat back that is.

Yeah I remember watching the demo video when it first came out. Heard the catback was kind of quiet even more so then the TRD version. However, I have no real world experience with this type of exhaust.

Thats the xB2's TRD axleback. probably just a generic picture offered on their website.

Also, I'm pretty sure nobody makes a catback for our cars yet. Be weary of websites that say they sell exhaust systems and catbacks for our cars.

ya only option for catback would be a custom one with 2.25 piping sounds sick and you feel and actual power gain.

haha pretty sure most people understood, but there are places that market our exhausts as cat backs when they arent. just dont want someone not paying attention to spend money and not get what they expected.

I find it strange how much some of these companies charge for an axle back. The cheapest I have found is from precision which is 305 shipped. In my Z28 days $300 would get you a nice cat-back with stainless and everything.

It's this car, most of them probably havnt sold enough to recoop R&D yet. I mean, look at hondas, tc's, you see used axlebacks walking for 100$ and some change, so a lot of companies flex down their new prices to keep people buying. you rarely see an xD exhaust for sale.
