Default Just want to make sure of something.
To remove the head lights you have to remove the front bumper over correct?

umm.... why do you need to remove the headlights?
an HID kit does not require you to remove the headlights at all, its as easy and changing the light bulbs... literally...

because changing the light bulbs is hella easier by removing the headlight.

Easier? I would think that the time it would take to remove the front bumper and headlights in order to change the bulbs would not be worth the extra effort, when you can just reach behind the headlight with the hood popped in order to complete the same task...

But hey why not take them out? I have taken my front bumper/headlights off several times, good way to learn how it all comes together/comes apart...

with the sensitivity of HID bulbs it makes a lot more sense to take the headlights out to put them in IMO. besides, you need to take the bumper off to hide the ballasts anyway.

This is true...I hate seeing things and clutter in the engine bay...Hid my ballasts and makes the install so much cleaner...

I did my HID's without removing them and thought I would have permanent scars from scratching up my hands so bad. I have small hands and they barely fit to reach the bulbs.
Definitely easier to just remove them first.

Sorry I have not updated this thread in a while. My plan was to tint the head lights and install HID's. My hands are to big to reach underneath the light to removes the third bolt that holds the assembly in place. HID's have been put on hold though until I get a little more free time.
