thats what im waiting on. if you guys are patient we're going into r&d post sema. the shop i work with on developing all this is extremely busy for the next month or so getting sema vehicles ready so we're looking afterwards. please be patient. if anything half deposit to ensure a for sure kit. we're aiming at a very reasonable price for the kit. =)

i agree to seeing 200whp. although, i personally dont think thats fast. for a xD yes its fast, but then again im use to driving much faster vehicles. =)

regardless the turbo kit we'll be working with JRX on will be affordable and fun!

We already have a r&d vehicle. Thanks for the offer. Currently im letting JRX catch up on their work as they are backlogged on mazdas because of a waiting list. Great niche market to be a great shop in, but the work does become overbearing at times. Also our r&d car will be on display at sema w/o the kit of course. Once it's back from sema, we will be r&d'ing the kit.

So Mike, when is SEMA? and do we get some sneak peak pictures?

BTW, in a week I will have money in hand for your turbo kit... any idea on what to expect for parts etc? type of turbo? internally/externally waste gated? type of BOV? type of intercooler? and any idea on fuel management? sorry for the barrage of questions but I am curious now that I know its only a month or 2 away from being R&D'd...

that i am waiting to sit down and talk with JRX about. we'll go over the details of everything post sema. they are very busy with getting caught up with work before we go into production with the kit. turbowise im guessing t3/t4, external wastegate and bov of course. brand i havent looked into what we're going to use yet. we'll be using a mishimoto intercooler and on fuel management more than likely aem fic and an injector upgrade. the fic seems to be a favorite amongst many. we will probably sell the kit minus fuel manage to make the cost of it much lower. with that everyone's got the option of what they want for fuel management also.

would you be able to supply maps with the kit if we decide to go with the same type of fuel management?

and I personally am partial to AIResearch/Garrett turbos...

He said that they will not be providing a fuel management system so there would be nothing to tune with... but they use the AEM FIC like they plan too, we can do the same and hopefully get maps from Mike himself...

hmm.. my understanding is that they would sell 2 versions of the kit one with and one without... so i was under the impression if you opted to get the fic it would come pre tuned... i could be wrong though...

This is good news to me! I know that I don't come on here very often, cause I often forget about this forum... But I'm glad that this information has come to light somewhere! I'm down for it! I'm kind of already working on a home-made kit, but I'm definitely willing to scrap it for a chance at a good quality kit!
