Ventrilo Voice-Chat Server?

i know the dedicated ... BUT iam telling u i already hosted one ..



u know what just youtube and enter how to make ur own Teamspeak/vent server



there is alot of vedios there



and its all on PCs but the pcs that has some power to open 24/7 or lil less .

I already have the server running, and it's been 24/7 for the past 4 years. I don't need any youtube tutorials.

It's just there, all the time, I thought maybe someone here would want to use it...

This sounds like fun. i hate typeing so this would help me alot so all i need is a head set. Would a mike that i use for skype be good?

well, that's the whole idea, you can get a lot more conversation done with voice chat rather than typing everything out all the time and waiting 6 hours for someone to respond...

and the nice thing is, it's a group chat, like a conference call.

yes, a skype mic would work - as long as you use headphones to isolate the speakers from the mic so there isn't any echo or feedback.
