The paint itself doesn't really matter much. What's important is the prep work and proper dry times, that alone can take days when your layering multiple colors on it. I personally use krylon or rustoleum paints because they are the most convenient to get. 24 hour walmart ftw!

I got 2 more covers I am working on right now, one is the Dyrdek praying mantis and the other is an orange M&M lol. I also just did a random one for my sisters A4, we were hanging out at a car wash and I pulled her cover and went to town on it... took me about 2 hours, but I banged it out in 1 sitting, pic:

Here's a pic of my cover installed in the engine bay, Ted wanted to see it installed... also a closeup shot showing a little more detail in the gun flames and head... I posted these over in the photo thread as well...

Wow, very cool stuff, I don't know how I missed this thread. Guess I need to be more active, lol. As much as I would love to have this done, right now any extra cash is going to hospital bills.

Well unfortunately, Monicas cover got pushed back a few days... the paint wasnt fully dry when it got cleared and ended up blending/running with the clear... so I already stripped it and laid down a new base coat, I'll be working on it all day tomorrow and then clearing it again monday or tuesday of next week, then hopefully have it shipped out by wednesday so she gets it by Friday...
